Code Blue Project

Alright folks. It time to start our first project of the year, called the "Code Blue" Project. This project is a 100 point project that includes two parts - a multimedia presentation and a visual poster. You will have three complete blocks in class to use computers and one-half a block to work on your poster.

This is a paperless assignment, which means I will not be supplying you with any handouts. Additionally, I will be sending your results to you via email or through the class wiki. If you want to choose to print anything, that's your choice. To access the project document, please click here.

If you have any concerns or questions, please post them as a comment on this blog site. Also, if you find a good link that is not shown on the assignment, please post that to the blog as well so others can use it. Good luck.

  5. Yes, please make sure you site each picture by putting the url next to the pic. Also, make sure you site the original source, not the google image search citation. Thanks.

  6. For Detailed explanation of the system assigned to me do you want me to explain how all the organs work together to complete their overall purpose or just what the system does.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The overall purpose of what the system does should be the second slide and the detailed slide should follow. It sounds to me like the explaining how the organs work together would be a great fit for the third slide. Good luck.

  8. what does card 9 mean???

    ReplyDelete
  9. Card nine is asking you to find 3-4 disorders or diseases that are associated with your system. Your examples should be specific diseases or disorders, not general ones. For example, do not use "problems with the blood". This is too general. Maybe instead use "sepsis" (I'll let you look that one up for yourself :)
    Hope this helps.

  11. For the Nervous system do you want the peripheral nervous system or just the central?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Explaining the difference between the two parts of the nervous system would be a good fit for the third slide (details about your system).
