Here's the schedule for Unit 3 - Cells (quiz will be Tuesday Mar. 2):

 

Wednesday 23rd:

• Finish cell notes/tree map & coloring (see wiki for PowerPoint & coloring pages)
• Cell Lab (see wiki)

Thursday 24th:

• Finish cell lab (turn in)
• Assign cell advertisement (due Monday)
• cell review sheet (due Fri)

Friday 25th:

• Turn in cell review
• Prokaryotes v. eukaryotes (see wiki)
• Virus v. cells (see wiki)
• Double Bubble creation (click here or see wiki for video)
• Work on cell advertisement (due Mon)

Monday 28th:

• Wrap up Friday's activities (all should be turned in today)
• Planet Earth video

Tuesday 3-1: NO SCHOOL FOR 10TH GRADERS (MME DAY FOR JUNIORS)

Wednesday 2nd:

• Share cell advertisements (turn in)
• Intro osmosis/diffusion lab (see wiki)
• Osmosis/diffusion lab due Thursday

 Thursday 3rd:

• Osmosis/diffusion notes & review
• Discuss & design formal lab (materials needed for Fri)

Friday 4th:

• Setup Plant Formal Lab (Day 0)
• Virtual lab on photosynthesis & cell respiration

Monday 7th:

• Review Cell Unit
• Wrap up cell activities
• Cell study guide & review (both due Tue)
• Begin looking at ATP - 8.1 study guide (due Tue)

Tuesday 8th:

• CELL UNIT QUIZ
• Begin cell energetics unit
