MIDTERM EXAM TUESDAY NOVEMBER 22

Sorry for yelling in the title, but 7.5% of your overall grade will be determined when you take the midterm exam in class on Tuesday. Please get well prepared for this.

A copy of the midterm review answer sheet is available on the wiki in the main biology files folder.

Lesson plan for Nov. 18

Please start by having the students finish the Osmosis Jones video that they started on Thursday.

Next the students can work on any of the following:
1. Exam review worksheet (I have provided answer keys and once they verify with you that they have completed the review, you may give them the answer key to check their work) DUE MONDAY @ BEGINNING OF BLOCK

2. Study Buddy – these were handed out on Thursday and please remind them they can write or type whatever they wish on it to use on the exam as long as the paper stays two dimensional. They may only write on the side that I typed on and I will not be providing any extras. DUE TUESDAY @ EXAM TIME.

3. Quizlet flash cards extra credit at http://www.quizlet.com/  – I have the laptop lab signed out so students can work on the extra credit online flashcards in class if they wish. Please remind them that these are due by 11:59pm tonight and can be submitted by either leaving them as a comment on our class blog (http://landrybiology.blogspot.com/ ) or the link can be emailed to me.

Code Blue Project - PRESENTATIONS DUE 16TH & POSTERS DUE 18TH

Just a reminder - your code blue presentations are due Wed. Nov. 16 by 11:59pm to your individual dropbox on the wiki. Remember, if its a powerpoint, just upload it to that site. If it is a website, google doc, or anything else with a web link, then create a document on the wiki in your folder and place the link in that document.

Posters are due at the beginning of class on Friday Nov. 18.

Exam reviews are due Mon. Nov. 21 & the midterm exam is Tue. Nov. 22. If you are going to be absent Nov. 22 please plan on taking it on the 21st in class. Thanks.
